Basic definition in biochemistry

Biochemistry :  It is define as the study of all the chemical reaction and process occurring inside the living body. Biomolecules : It is define as the molecule that occur natural inside the living organism. it contains carbon as major element and generally contain hydrogen, nitrogen,Oxygen, phosphate, sulphur. Carbohydrates : It is define as optically active polyhydroxy aldehydes or ketones or the compounds which give such units on hydrolysis. Lipids : Lipids can be defined as organic substances that are relatively insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvent such as ether chloroform or benzene. Fatty acids : the long chain hydrocarbon which contain carboxylic acid group at the end are known as fatty acids.

Basic Biochemistry

Basic Biochemistry     Biochemistry:  is the study of the chemical processes within and relating to living organisms. It focuses on the molecules of life, such as proteins, nucleic acids, lipids, and carbohydrates, and how they interact to maintain life. Essentially, it's the chemistry of life at the molecular level. Basic aspects of biochemistry: 1.Molecular Level Bio Chemistry:      Biochemistry explores the structure, composition, and chemical reactions of molecules within living systems. 2.Cellular Processes Bio Chemistry:      It investigates how these molecules function in cells and how they contribute to cellular processes like metabolism, replication, and signaling. 3. Interdisciplinary Field:      Biochemistry combines aspects of biology and chemistry, and it has connections to other fields like molecular biology, cell biology, and medicine. 4.Biochemistry of Molecules Life: The four major categories of bi...
